How to Setup Yandex Email for your Domain

IMPORTANT for CloudFlare Users:

Go to CloudFlare and disable the DNS and HTTP proxy (CDN) before verifiying your domain with Yandex. You may re-enable this function after verification confirmed.
If CloudFlare activated via cPanel disable until verifed by Yandex.

CloudFlare DNS settings;
Type: CNAME
Name: yamail-xxxxxxx (Here enter according to your Yandex verification code)
Value: mail.yandex.com
TTL: Automatic
Status: DNS Only


1. Yandex Master Account Creation

Go to https://passport.yandex.com/registration Yandex Account Creation Instructions

2. Yandex Account Dashboard

Upon account created you will redirected to Account Dashboard. Yandex Account Dashboard

3. Refresh Login

To demonstrate fresh login; Logout and Login again. URL: https://passport.yandex.com Yandex Login

4. Add Domain

After Login go to https://domain.yandex.com This is where you add your domain. Add domain to Yandex

5.1. Verify Domain Ownership

After perfroming connect domain Yandex will ask to verify domain ownership. Add domain to Yandex

5.2. Login to Your cPanel

5.3. Go To File Manager

5.4. Go To public_html at File Manager

5.5. Click on +File to create verification File with Yandex provided file name.

5.6. Edit the ceated file

5.8. Finalize the verification at Yandex

6.1. Setup MX records

If your DNS hosted via our cPanel, means that your domain using our NS records to host.
Go to Zone Editor Setup MX Records

6.2. Click on Mange

If you don't know your main server host name, please contact us. We have multiple servers and please make sure you confirm you are using correct server name.

Important: Before import email to Yandex create the email account on Yandex that you want to import and login that account on Yandex web at least one time to activate the email account. Then perform the import. So account on Yandex must be exist and activated prior commencing the import.

If you don't have SPF records set, just create new TXT record othewise just replace. For more info please go to https://yandex.com/support/domain/set-mail/spf.html Authanticate Domain Name (cPanel Settings)

You have completed the setup for Yandex. Please allow sometiem to DNS settings propogate.

TIP: Clear your browser and DNS cache after setup complete.
